Herne bay Constitutional Club website
Herne Bay Constitutional Club, a men`s social club with four first-class snooker tables, is situated at Eastwell house, 111 High Street, Herne Bay, opposite the town’s public library and about 200 yards from the sea front.
The club was first established in 1922 as a proprietory club and did not become a members club until 1961. Members rented the premises until 1996 when the opportunity arose to purchase the property.
It is stressed that the Contitutional is not primarily a snooker club, but is a social club for gentlemen and offers excellent facilities for snooker. The most popular games in the club are Billiards, Table bowls, Cribbage, Dominoes and Darts. A members Golf Competion is also held in September each year.
Those that have moved to the town are welcome to visit to see what the club has to offer. With a view possibly of joining. The opening hours are:
